There are four different basins with their water fountains that can be found within the Tuileries Gardens along with two ponds, and the basins were completely renovated with the completion of a closed circuit water distribution system in 2011 that recycles the water, making these gardens even more eco-friendly.

And as well as just relaxing by the basins, listening to the water, you can also see children playing happily with the model sailing boats like those that were in this small basin water feature, which is called the Vivier nord, within the Grand Carre area of the Jardin des Tuileries in the north western side of the garden.
