After the French revolution when the Jardin des Tuileries became the National Garden of the new French Republic, it was decided that this should be renovated and plans were put in place to decorate the garden with different elements such as monumental porches and Roman porticos.

However, the only things that remain from this project that was never completed, are two exedras, which are semi-circular low walls with statues and ponds, and here you can see the Exedre Nord while we were looking in a north west direction, which is on the northern side of the Grand Couvert area of the Tuileries Gardens, with three historical statues dating from the late 17th and early 18th centuries.
