We were on the Terrasse de l'Orangerie close to the Rampe sud that leads up to the south terrace from the Fer a cheval area at the western end of the Jardin des Tuileries and we took this photo looking south west towards the Musee de l'Orangerie, which is in the direction of the River Seine.

Plus if you look very carefully in the distance on the grass in front of the former orangery, you will see a set of small white modern art sculptures called the Grand Commandement Blanc.
