We took this photograph looking down the Esplanade des Feuillants in a south easterly directly towards the Musee du Louvre, which you can just make out at the end of the walkway, and this is located on the northern side of the Tuileries Gardens.

Yet you can also see a tree monument called the Chene de la Republique, close to where we were standing, which was by the terrace that holds the Musee du Jeu de Paume behind us and the terrace that goes to the Rue du Rivoli to the left, along with the Grand Couvert area of the Jardin des Tuileries to the right of the image.
