Although the River Seine is mainly used for leisure these days, there are still working barges that navigate up and down, and this is a photograph we took showing one of these barges hard at work while walking in the 8th Arrondissement looking over the river to the 7th Arrondissement and the quay side restaurant, which is ideal for that al fresco dining experience next to the river.
