Photo Images of the Pont Neuf Bridge in Paris image 19
The famous Pont Neuf bridge over the River Seine is actually the oldest bridge in Paris dating back over 400 years, and although a bridge was first conceived during the reign of King Henri II, construction was not started until during the reign of King Henri III, yet only completed in the July of 1606 and later officially named by King Henri IV during his reign and as you can see, this is still standing proud as one of the many historical monuments you can discover.
