Photo Images of the Place de la Concorde in Paris Image 6
We took this photo of the monument called the Luxor Obelisk, which is located at the Place de la Concorde, and as you can see from the image, there are hieroglyphics on the column that depict the rule of Ramses II and Ramses III, along with a pyramidion or the cap on top decorated in gold leaf, which was only put in place in the 1990s to make the obelisk how it was before the 6th century.
