This statue in Paris is of Fame Mounted on Pegasus, or in French, La Renommee Montee sur Pegase, which is located on the left hand side of the wrought iron gilded gates to Tuileries Gardens at the western entrance by the Place de la Concorde, and although this is only a copy or cast that was put in place in 1986, the original statue in marble was commissioned by Jules Hardouin Mansart, sculpted by Antoine Coysevox in 1702 and put in place in 1719, yet can now be found within the Musee du Louvre Museum itself.
