HD photographs of L'Automne statue on Aile Henri II at Musee du Louvre - Page 89
Again we were at the Musee du Louvre in the 1st Arrondissement of Paris, when we took these high definition photos showing a statue called L'Automne, which was sculpted by Noemie Constant.

This first HD photo shows a statue called l'Automne, which in English translates to The Autumn also known as Fall, and an allegory made of stone this was placed on the Aile Henri II wing of the Palais du Louvre in 1857.
Now this Autumn statue was produced by Noemie Constant, who was born with the name Marie Noemie Cadiot in 1832 and she studied to become a French sculptor first presenting works at the 1853 Salon under her married name of Constant, which she used until 1864.
However, Noemie was also a writer producing several novels and used a pseudonym of Claude Vignon, which is what she used to sign here works on later sculptures, but she also used her third husband's name of Rouvier, yet due to when this allegorical statue was sculpted, it is classed as being by Noemie Constant.
But this photograph shows the location of L'Automne statue positioned on the balustrade by the roof line of the Aile Henri II, and when you are standing in the courtyard of the Louvre Museum called the Cour Napoleon, you will see that this is the fourth statue from the left hand side of this facade.
