HD photographs of the Personnage III statues inside Jardin des Tuileries - Page 732
This time while we were at the Jardin des Tuileries in the 1st Arrondissement of Paris, we took these high defintion photos showing the Personnage III statues by Etienne Martin.

In this first HD photo you can see three bronze statues that were all produced at the same time under a title of Personnage III, which in English translates to 3 Characters, and taken from inspiration of empty spaces delimited by volume plus childhood memories, these were placed within the Tuileries Gardens in the year 2000.
Now this modern art sculpture set was produced by Etienne Martin who was born in 1913 and initially studied at the School of Fine Arts in Lyon, but moved to Paris to gain more experience as a French sculptor, initially working in wood and plaster, and Personnage III was carved in wood back in 1967.

However, as we mentioned, the 3 Character sculptures you can see in the Jardin des Tuileries are a cast in bronze taken from the original wood version, and these statues were installed within one part of the Grand Couvert section of the garden at the same time as other modern art sculptures were placed in the popular tourist attraction of this historical garden.
But this photo provides more of a perspective as to the location of Personnage III, also sometimes referred to as Trois Personnages, where each of the statue elements has a slightly different character, however, Etienne Martin, who passed away in 1995, is most recognised for his Demeure series of sculptures with one located in Parc Bercy and another by the River Seine in the Tino Rossi Garden.
