The allegorical statue called La Musique, or The Music, is located on the Aile Henri IV, and when you are looking at the facade of the former Palais du Louvre from the courtyard called the Cour Napoleon, you will see that this is on the top level by the roof line and is the first statue in the left hand side corner of the wing by the balustrades.
Now this particular stone statue of La Musique was sculpted by Antoine Samuel Adam-Salomon who was born in 1818, and he became a portrait photographer as well as a French sculptor, although most of his artistic work comprised of producing medallions and creating busts of famous people, which were mainly in marble, along with funerary monuments.
