The architecture at former Palais du Louvre is truly impressive wherever you look, and this is an image showing the top left hand corner statue on the parapet above the windows by the roof and if looking from the courtyard towards the three arches that go to the River Seine it would be on the right hand side, and considering how long ago The Louvre was constructed, the statues and sculptures are still in remarkable condition, and show just how skilled the craftsmen were.
