HD photographs of L'Industrie statue on Pavillon Colbert at Musee du Louvre - Page 518
This is another allegorical statue called L'Industrie that we took some high definition photo of while admiring the Pavillon Colbert of the Musee du Louvre, which was sculpted by Louis Elias Robert.

So this first HD photo shows the statue called L'Industrie, which is an allegory depicting Industry, and when you are looking at the Pavillon Colbert from the Cour Napoleon courtyard, you can see this on the right hand side at the top of the facade by the pediment and roof line.
Now this statue was sculpted by Louis Elias Robert for the former Palais du Louvre, which is located in the 1st Arrondissement of Paris, and put in place in 1857, it is opposite to the other statue that this French sculptor produced for the same facade when additional ornamental sculptures were being added to this famous tourist attraction.
