When you are within the courtyard of the Musee du Louvre called the Cour Napoleon, you can see this allegorical statue of L'Anatomie, which in English translates to The Anatomy, but as you can no doubt tell from this HD photo, unfortunately it is wearing through the weather.
Now this stone statue was produced by Pierre Eugene Emile Hebert who was initially taught to become a French sculptor by his father, who was also named Pierre Hebert, and in fact they both worked on statues for the Palais du Louvre, so it is easy to get confused between the two.
Yet the father was born in 1804, whereas Pierre Eugene Emile Hebert was born in 1823 and participated in Paris Salons plus the 1855 Universal Exhibition and his sculptures can now be found in places such as America, Canada, obviously Paris, France, etc.
