HD photographs of L'Automne statue on Aile Colbert at Musee du Louvre - Page 512
This time we were within the Cour Napoleon of the Musee du Louvre, which is located in the 1st Arrondissement of Paris, and we took these high definition photos of a statue called L'Automne by Pierre Alexandre Schoenewerk.

So this first HD photo shows the statue of L'Automne, which in English translates to The Autumn, and this is an allegory that can be seen on the very top of the Aile Colbert wing of the former Palais du Louvre.
And this allegory was produced by Pierre Alexandre Schoenewerk, who was born in February 1820, and became a French sculptor, studying under David d'Angers, plus he was awarded the Legion of Honour, and his works can now be seen in different museums throughout France including the Musee d'Orsay in Paris.
