HD photos of L'inspiration guidee par la sagesse statue by J Falguiere at Palais de la Decouverte in Paris - Page 248
We took these high definition photos showing one of the statues on the Palais de la Decouverte called L'inspiration guidee par la sagesse by Falguiere, which is located at a part of the Grand Palais in the 8th Arrondissement of Paris.

Now this first photograph shows the equestrian statue group called L'Inspiration Guidee par la Sagesse, which translates in English to The Inspiration Guided by the Wisdom and this can be found to the right hand side of the main entrance to the Palais de la Decouverte, which is also called the Palais d'Antin.
In this HD photo taken from the Avenue Franklin Delano Roosevelt, you can get to see just a small part of this monumental and historical building, which was constructed for the 1900 World Fair in Paris, and it was adorned with numerous different statues and sculptures by many different artists, including this bronze statue group.
And this was produced by the French painter and sculptor Jean Alexandre Joseph Falguiere, sometimes written Jean-Joseph-Alexandre Falguiere, who was born in 1831 in Toulouse and was known mainly as Alexandre Falguiere for short, and he produced many different sculptures that can be seen around Paris and France.
Now this particular image shows the ornate stone base of the bronze statue group by Alexandre Falguiere, which was produced by a different artist specifically to embellish the side of the grand entrance to the Antin Palace, or the Palace of Discovery as most people known it as in English translation.
But getting back to this statue called L'Inspiration Guidee par la Sagesse you will find that this was cast in bronze in the year 1900 by the Salin Foundry, which was actually the same year that the sculptor Alexandre Falguiere passed away, having been previously awarded the title of Officer of the Legion of Honour and becoming a member of the Academie de Beaux-Arts.
And this HD photo shows the opposite side of the bronze statue group called Inspiration Guided by Wisdom, which seems to us a very apt title for a sculpture that is located at the entrance to the Palace of Discovery, which is a science museum housing a planetarium and much, much more.
And in this last photograph of this statue in Paris, you can see the workmanship by Falguiere that went into this sculpture, which was put in place in 1900 when the Grand Palais along with the Petit Palais were first opened for the Universal Exhibition, having had over fifty different artists work on the decorations for these palaces.
