This statue of Condorcet was produced in 1857 by the French sculptor Pierre Loison, who produced several other statues for the Musee du Louvre and this is the first one on the first level of statues on the Rotonde de Beavais, as you are looking at the facade from the Cour Napoleon.
Here you can see a close up showing the name of the statue dedicated to Marie Jean Antoine Nicolas de Caritat, Marquis de Condorcet, who was known as Nicolas de Condorcet and he was a French philosopher, mathematician, and political scientist born in 1743, yet met his death mysteriously in prison.
