HD photographs of 1868 Vigilance statue on Pavillon des Etats at The Louvre - Page 220
Some of the statues on The Louvre are actually quite hard to see when they are on the top level by the roof, but we managed to taken some photos of these, including this one called Vigilance.

This high definition photo shows one of hundreds of statues located on the facade of the Musee du Louvre, and this one called Vigilance, can be found within the Cour du Carrousel on the Pavillon des Etats, which is the building on the side of the River Seine, but looking at the statue from within the courtyard.
And this sculpture is an allegory statue that was produced in 1868 by the French sculptor Jean Francois Soitoux, who was born in Besancon in 1816, and passed away in Paris in 1892, having previously been commissioned to produce several different statues for the Palais du Louvre and was decorated with the Legion of Honour for his efforts.
