The statue you can see in this photo is one of the 21 statues known as Les Enfants du Monde, which translates in English to The Children of the World, and designed in bronze, you will find this and the others located within the Parc de Bercy in the 12th Arrondissement close to the River Seine and the Passerelle Simone de Beauvoir.
Now this bronze statue was designed by the French artist Rachid Khimoune, and he named this particular one Naomi the African, so that it could be dedicated to children of Africa, and if you look carefully at the photo along the arm jewellery, these were sculpted from mouldings of everyday items like grills that the artist took while in the country.
