Also, while we were visiting the Gare de Lyon train station in Paris, we took these additional HD photos showing the sculpture called l'Electricite that was produced by Paul Gasq, and this is part of the front main facade of this historical building.

Gare de Lyon and l'Electiricite sculpture
Now as we mentioned before, the l'Electricite sculpture was produced by the artist Paul Gasq in 1899, and located by the first floor on the front facade of the Gare de Lyon, this is one of the four different allegorical statues found on the train station, and each one of these refer to different elements of progress and modernity within industry and transport.

So, within this close up photo we took of the l'Electricite sculpture, you can see a form of machinery that has also been carved within the allegory, and this along with the rest of the sculpture was designed to depict electricity as being one of the progresses in industry and commerce.
