In these high definition photos you can see the bust style stone statue of Guy de la Brosse, which is positioned on the second level, on the left hand side in between the pillars on the facade of the Natural History Museum, which is a part of the Jardin des Plantes.

Now as you can tell from the next close up image, Guy de La Brosse was born in 1584 and died in 1641, and a keen botanist, yet also the physician for King Louis XIII, he first founded the Jardin du Roi medicinal and botanical garden in Paris with numerous different herbs that could be used in medicine, and this historical garden is now known as the Jardin des Plantes.
And if you would like to visit the botanical gardens and see these bust statues, you will find them located within the 5th Arrondissement close to the River Seine, although the Museum National de l'Histoire Naturalle is actually located towards the western end of the garden, which means that the nearest Metro station is the Place Monge stop that serves line 7.
