There are numerous different equestrian statues all over Paris, and this first HD photo shows a sculpture of a pair of horses located on the edge of the roof, at the Hotel National des Invalides, also known as just Les Invalides, which is the very historical building founded by King Louis XIV for disabled soldiers, war veterans and as a hospital for those injured.
Unfortunately we have been unable to find out who produced this beautiful statue group that you can see in this close up photograph showing the fine details of the two horses, however, two very well respected French sculptors, namely Guillaume Coustou and Antoine Coysevox, produced other works for The Invalides along with other equestrian statues that can be found in Paris, so this possibly could have been sculpted by one of them.
Now as you can see, this equestrian statue group is located in the corner by the roof line within the courtyard of Les Invalides called the Cour d'Honneur, and this is the main and largest courtyard of the complex, which you enter from the north facade and where you can discover different canons that are a part of the Musee de l'Armee.
