In between the pillars on the second level underneath the windows on the Natural History Museum in Paris you will find some statues or busts sculpted in stone of different key figures related to the Jardin des Plantes, and these high definition photos we took shows the one of Antoine Laurent de Jussieu.

And below, this close up photo is of the bust statue that shows a name of A L de Jussieu, along with his year of birth and death, and with a full name of Antoine Laurent de Jussieu, he was a renowned French botanist, who was the first to publish a natural classification of flowering plants, with much of his system still in use today, and he was a professor of botany within the Jardin des Plantes from 1770 through to 1826.
To visit these bust sculptures located on the Museum National de l'Histoire Naturelle, you will find these located in the 5th Arrondissement of Paris inside Jardin des Plantes at the western end of the garden close to Rue Geoffrey Saint-Hilaire, and the nearest Metro station to here is the Place Monge stop serving line 7.
