Here you can see the HD photos we took of a bust statue within a circular surround made of stone that is located on the Museum National de l'Histoire Naturelle, and when you look at the facade you will find this located to the right hand side of the large central statue facing the former royal garden of medicinal plants.

And this close up photo we took shown below is of the bust depicting Rene Just Hauy, as you can tell from the writing around the sculpture, and he was a French mineralogist, often referred to as the Father of Modern Crystallography, who became a professor of mineralogy at the Natural History Museum in Paris during the reign of Napoleon Bonaparte, founded the Musee de Mineralogie located within the Jardin des Plantes.
