This first HD photo shows a Statue of Sainte Anne standing with a young child, which is actually her daughter Mary, and she is the Grandmother of Jesus, and Saint Ann, or Saint Anne is depicted here standing by her side, as she was at Mary's side when she responded to the grace and became the Holy Mother of God.
Unfortunately we have been unable to find out when this particular statue of Sainte Anne was sculpted, nor who produced this, and although this was placed within the Eglise Saint-Roch many years ago, even the date of this has not been registered, but Saint Anne is venerated within the Catholic Church and her feast day is celebrated on 26th July.
Yet this close up photograph shows an inscription placed on a plaque on the wall of the chapel behind the statue, which translates in English to.
Saint Anne
Mother of Mary
Watch out for us
So here you can see the name of the chapel being the Chapelle de Sainte Anne that has been put on a sign on the railings in front of the entire chapel, which holds the statue of Saint Ann and Mary, and as you have entered the church from the Rue Saint Honore, this can be found within the deambulatory area, past the Transept on the right hand side of the Eglise Saint-Roch.
