L'Equite, which translates to Fairness, is the name of the statue on the Western facade of the Palais de Justice that you can see in this photo, which we took while at the square de la Place Dauphine, and this stone statue was produced by the French sculptor Jean-Louis Nicolas Jaley in 1859, and is one of two statues that he produced for this building, but others produced by him can be found around Paris and even within the Louvre Museum.
