This is a view of one of the Metro station platforms we took, and although it is hard to make out, there is a sign hanging down on the left hand side past the Sortie and light, that shows the direction we will be travelling. In this instance, it is the Etoile by the Arc de Triomphe, whereas the other platform goes in the opposite direction to the Nation metro stop.
