Photo of the Bouquinistes along Quai de Conti Paris - Page 92
There are numerous different street traders in any city, and when you wander along the banks of the River Seine you will see lots of green boxes that open up to make market stalls for booksellers that are known as Bouquinistes in French, and these second hand booksellers have had a presence for centuries and are a historical part of Paris city life that still continues to thrive to this day, and this is a photo we took of some of these stalls on the street next to River Seine close to the Pont des Arts and Institut de France, which is known as the Quai de Conti.
