High definition photo of people relaxing along the River Seine in Paris - Page 7
There is a historical island in the middle of the River Seine called the Ile de la Cite, which is probably most well known for the Notre Dame Cathedral and maybe the Conciergerie where Marie Antoinette was held prisoner before being guillotined, yet a beautiful part of this island is right at the tip, which is called the Square du Vert Galant named after King Henri IV, and over the years this has become a part of Paris city life where couples come to enjoy some peace and tranquility or a romantic stroll, and visitors relax by the edge of the river under the shade of numerous varieties of trees, just like you can see in this high definition photograph we took from a little further up the river.
