Paris city life has changed dramatically over the centuries, and the Pont Neuf bridge, which you can see in this image, has definitely been witness to that, as originally it was frequented by street traders, tooth pullers and shady characters, whereas today, the oldest bridge over the River Seine is frequented by tourists, many taking photographs from this historical location, along with those taking a romantic stroll over to the Ile de la Cite island and visiting the pretty Square du Vert Galant.
