HD photographs of the 1850s Louvre des Antiquaires building in Paris - Page 312
You will find numerous wide streets in Paris and impressive buildings that have been constructed along them, just like in this photo showing a part of the Rue de Rivoli, with the Musee du Louvre to the left and Louvre des Antiquaires to the right of the image, and this road was constructed during the reign of Napoleon Bonaparte and named after one of his victories.

Yet here is a view looking along an arcade, which is on the south facade of the Louvre des Antiquaires that was constructed along the Rue de Rivoli during the reign of Napoleon III, when Baron Haussmann was redesigning much of Paris.
And here you can see this elegant building that was originally constructed in the 1850s as a luxury hotel to accommodate world travellers that were to be arriving in Paris for the World Fair, yet it then became a department store and then an antiques gallery named Le Louvre des Antiquaires.
So here is a sign for Louvre des Antiquaires above an entrance into the classy space where you could discover numerous different kinds of antiques from furniture through to jewellery, which are within individual galleries spread throughout the building.
But if you do not have the money to splash out on an unusual antique, you could just enjoy relaxing at the cafe terrace located within the south arcade and enjoy a part of Paris city life with friends or family.
However, here is another sign for the Louvre des Antiquaires on the western facade, and you may think you recognise the style of this and the building itself, as it is exactly the same as the impressive luxury hotel called the Hotel du Louvre, which is located just up the street, and this was originally the Grand Hotel du Louvre before becoming the luxury shopping centre, then antiques gallery.
