And here you can see a close up of the sign showing the names of this wood and glass barge called the Rosa Bonheur sur Seine, which has become a popular spot for friends and colleagues to meet up after work and enjoy a drink in a warm and friendly atmosphere where old barrels have been turned into the tables and chairs.
Now Rosa Bonheur was named after a painter and Bonheur actually means Happiness in French, and this is exactly what the owners have strived to achieve with this barge that is permanently moored along the Quai d'Orsay close to the Pont Alexandre III, which looks over towards the Grand Palais, and as well as a wide variety of drinks along with music you can dance to, even table football is available along with snacks such as tapas and wood fired oven cooked pizzas.
