You will find that each Arrondissement of Paris has its own Mayor and mayors building, and many can be found within historical building at prestigious locations around the city, and this is a photo showing one such building located next to the tower of the Saint-Germain l'Auxerrois church.

Now here you can see the front of the building with the French and European flags above the entrance to the offices of the Mayor of the 1st Arrondissement of Paris, and as you can see, Mayor is spelt Mairie in French, and this is located at the Place du Louvre opposite the Cour Carree of the famous Musee du Louvre.
