Traffic congestion can be a major problem in any city, especially with touring coaches from the millions of visitors that go to popular holiday destinations each year, so Paris came up with a scheme called the Pass Autocar, which is a payment scheme for all coaches wishing to enter the city with designated coach parking areas.

And just on the outskirts of Paris there is the largest coach park in Europe to accommodate all the buses, yet this photo shows one of the payment booths and one of the workers with their car that monitor free spaces and compliance, etc.
