Paris is a city known for its gastronomy, and you will find numerous gourmet restaurants, just like this one called Lasserre, which is located close to the Avenue des Champs Elysees.

This first HD photo shows the facade and entrance to the world famous Lasserre Michelin starred restaurant, which was first founded by rene Lasserre back in 1942, on the Avenue Franklin Delano Roosevelt in the 8th Arrondissement of Paris.
Here you can see the name plaque of the Lasserre Restaurant, which is classified as a gourmet fine dining experience that was first awarded a Michelin star in 1949, and with its dining room on the first floor that you reach by elevator, a mechanical roof was installed in 1950, so that people could look up to the sky and the stars.
Over the years Lasserre has become one of the famous top table restaurants that is frequented by celebrities and those just wishing to discover a dining experience of a life time, with impeccable service, an a la carte menu and a tasting menu that can also be expertly paired with the correct drinks, yet there are even private rooms available for functions such as weddings on the ground floor.
Yet this next close up photograph shows one of the bronze plaques located on the facade of the Lasserre restaurant, and as you can see, since 1954 this has been classed as one of the Grand Tables of the World.
Two more plaques are located underneath an ornamental lamp on the facade and these relate to the fact the they are part of the Castles and Hotels Collection and recommended as a Remarkable Table, which attests to the expertise of all the staff, from the highly professional chefs, the Maitre D, Sommeliers, etc, for an unforgettable culinary experience.
So this last photo shows the first floor of the Gourmet restaurant Lasserre with its balcony in the main dining room that has an elegant Belle Epoque style interior for a warm and cosy setting, yet you can also see their coat of arms above the windows, which is also the section where the roof can be opened up.
