HD photographs of tourists queuing for the Catacombes de Paris - Page 242
We were on the Avenue du Colonel Henri Rol-Tanguy at the Place Denfert-rochereau in the 14th Arrondissement of Paris when we took this photo of the small green building, which is actually the entrance to the Catacombs, or Catacombes de Paris in French, which is the mass burial place in the quarries underneath the city.

Now the Catacombes are very popular with tourists, and on this occasion there was such an enormous queue of people going right round the square with an approximate waiting time of at least two hours to gain entry, which we decided not to hang around as our feet and legs were already getting weary, so you do have to pick your times, yet this is an unusual attraction in Paris that fascinates people from all over the world.
