Now Dalloyau has a history going back to 1682 at the Court of Versailles when Charles Dalloyau was noticed by King Louis XIV and continued serving breads etc for generations to the court, but in 1802 a house of gastronomy was opened in Paris, with further shops, or boutiques and tea salons following over the years and now this is a global family owned business with places in Tokyo, Dubai, etc.

So some of their specialities are the Opera Cake and Macarons, yet you can also get snacks and classics like smoked salmon and blinis, quiche or croque-monsieur along with salads, sweet and savoury assortments and of course cafe gourmands, some of which can be taken away, while other are designed for eating inside or on the terrace.
