When waking along the top banks of the River Seine close to the Louvre, you will see green wooden boxes fixed in place to the wall at street level, and when the stall holders open these up, they put on display numerous things such as postcards, books, souvenirs, etc and like in this photograph, posters, paintings and prints, which varied in cost tremendously, but they can certainly provide enjoyment and a lasting reminder of your holiday in Paris, and for the stall holders themselves, it is a part of their daily city life to display things prominently and strategically to entice us tourists to their goods, so they themselves can make a living.
