Any city has major problems with the amount of rubbish it accumulates and you will always see dustcarts wherever you go, but we just loved the sign on this one providing a logical message with some humour of the worker, known as an Agent of Cleanliness, coming out of the wall holding a bag for the lady throwing away a can.

So when translated to English it reads; We can do the best, but not impossible, which is at the top, and below the image it states; Agents of cleanliness clean behind us. Let's avoid mess behind them. And so true that is, to keep Paris nice for everyone.
