The underground stations in any city feel gloomy, and are just a means of getting around, yet to be honest, the Metro stations in Paris that we utilised were at least clean and tidy, and the trains were exceedingly punctual with a very little wait in between when the next one would arrive, plus there are seats to sit on and bill boards to study, but for those of you who are not sure where certain landmarks are this city, there is a map on every platform either side of the tracks that shows the different stops and even connection points between lines, which are located below the Metro station name, as can just be seen on the very left of this picture.
