Photo of Grand Guichets at the Louvre in Paris - Page 145

Probably the most famous palace in Paris is The Louvre, which has become a museum and a part of city life where millions of visitors come every year, and this is a photo we took from the Pont du Carrousel bridge looking towards one of its entrances called the Grand Guichets, yet incredibly, this part of the building that goes to the Carrousel courtyard was only added to the older Pavilions in the 1800s, even though it looks far older and in keeping with the rest of this historical chateau.
