To get these HD photos we just happened to be in the right place at the right time, when some army aircraft done a fly by over the Louvre museum in Paris, which included jet planes, fighter planes re-fuelling planes and a selection of different helicopters including the Apache attack helicopter.

Photo of Patrouille de France fly by at the Louvre Museum
The aerial display team, similar to the Red Arrows in the UK, is the military display team called the Patrouille de France, and this is a photo we took of them doing a fly by over the Louvre Museum from the Arc de Triomphe and the Avenue des Champs Elysees in their Alphajets, and as you can tell in this image, they had trails of smoke in the colours of the French flag, and it is this aerial team that always start off the air parade in Paris on 14th July each year.
Picture of French Air Force fly by over the Louvre Museum
Looking towards the main entrance of the Musee du Louvre, which is now the modern I M Pei Pyramid, and to the impressive former chateau behind it, we took this photo showing the French flag flying proudly as three planes from the French Air Force were flying overhead, and apparently there were over 50 aeroplanes that formed part of the air parade, but unfortunately we do not known what type these were.
HD photo of C-160 Transall planes flying over the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel
While we were standing in the Cour du Carrousel and looking up at the quadriga, or the statue group on the top of the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, we managed to capture this picture of three C-160 Transall planes flying over, which are a part of the Armee de l'Air, French Air Army, and this was just a part of the flyby at The Louvre we managed to see while we were visiting Paris.
Picture showing three helicopters over the Cour Napoleon at Musee du Louvre
Even though it was not yet Bastille Day, the French Air Force were doing a practise run fly by at the Louvre in readiness of the formal parade and celebrations that take place each year in Paris on the 14th July, and according to a new report we read, there were over 30 helicopters that formed part of the air flyover, and this is a photo we took showing three of these helicopters going over while we were standing in the Cour Napoleon.
Mirages jet fighters flying over the Jardin des Tuileries
Unfortunately we are not very good at distinguishing one type of aeroplane from another, however, here you can see a large plane, that was being escorted by two other jet fighters, which we believe were Mirages from the French military air force, and these planes were a part of the flyover that we managed to see while at the Louvre Museum, when they were on a practice run a few days before the famous military parade and celebrations held each year.
Army aircraft flyby over the Louvre Museum
Having just taken a lovely walk through the Tuileries Gardens from the Place de la Concorde, we were standing in the Cour du Carrousel after having admired the triumphal arch and were heading towards the impressive former palace that is now the Musee du Louvre, and this is a HD photo we took looking towards the I M Pei Pyramid, which some planes were flying over on their air parade practise run, and we think this was a Boeing plane being escorted by fighter jets, although unfortunately we are not very good when it comes to recognising different types of aeroplanes.
Photo of helicopters doing a flyby over Pavillon Sully at Musee du Louvre
While in the Cour Napoleon of the Musee du Louvre we took this photo of the Pavillon Sully as some of the helicopters were flying over, which formed part of the military parade and air parade for the Bastille Day celebrations, and we do know there were Eurocopters included in the display, but we think we also saw an Apache attack helicopter as well, yet unfortunately we cannot tell you what type these were in this image, yet we were just fortunate enough to be in such a fabulous location for this memorable event in Paris.
Photo of French Air Force flying over the Louvre Museum
We just happened to be in the right place at the right time when the French Air Force were doing a flyover at the Musee du Louvre, and according to a news report that we read afterwards, there were over 50 different planes involved along with over 30 helicopters, and although we enjoyed the experience, as you may be able to just make out in this photo, the birds certainly did not every time some aeroplanes flew by.
High definition photo of a Eurocopter flying over the Denon wing at Musee du Louvre
As we were standing in the Cour Napoleon of the Musee du Louvre, we were fortunate enough to be there when there was a practise flyover taking place just days before the Bastille Day celebrations, and this is a high definition photo we took while near the Denon wing looking up at a helicopter, which we believe is called a Eurocopter, although we are not 100 percent sure.
Picture of helicopters air display over Musee du Louvre
Looking towards one of the small pyramids in the Cour Napoleon that help act as skylights as we were facing towards the Pavillon Sully, we managed to capture this photo of three helicopters going overhead, which was the last part of the practise run air parade and flyby at The Louvre after the planes had gone over.
