The Musee de la Sculpture en Plein Air is one of the free museums in Paris that is located within the Jardin Tino Rossi Gardens next to the River Seine, and within the gardens you can find different modern sculptures, many by famous artists, that have placed in specific locations letting locals and tourist enjoy while walking through this area.

It always seems a shame to us that people can deface a persons work of art with graffiti, but this modern sculpture is located in the free Open Air Museum in Paris and was produced by Marta Colvin in 1970, and according to the plaque, it is bronze and she called it Le Grand Signe.

Made in granite stone, the sculpture you can see in this image is called the Coeur de Gaucho and was produced by Sesostris Vitullo who was born in Argentina, yet he produced this a year before he died in Paris, and we discovered this while in the Musee de la Sculpture en Plein Air that was created in 1980.

This modern sculpture is found along the promenade or quay within the Jardin Tino Rossi and is part of the Musee de la Sculpture en Plein Air section, and as you can see we were looking out over the River Seine towards the right bank, yet you can also just see a part of an additional piece of modern art popping up at the waters edge.
