We had just walked over the River Seine from the Palais de Chaillot in order to get to the Eiffel Tower that you can see in this photo, along with the Tour Montparnasse Tower in the very distance, and as well as the numerous other tourists around waiting to cross the road, there was also a l'OpenTour tour bus going by, and being a lovely day, the top open deck of the brightly coloured bus tours in Paris was virtually full for the best views of the many landmarks and monuments it will be passing.
