This first HD photo shows the entire children's playground located within the Jardins du Trocadero, and this area can be found within the south westerly side of the garden reasonably close to the River Seine and also the public toilets.
Here is a view showing some of the apparatus within the children's playground in the Trocadero Gardens including a slide and small climbing wall, suitable for different ages.
As you can see from this image, the entire playground, called an Aire de Jeux in French, is fenced and there are plenty of benches where you can see and watch your children playing happily on the facilities including a spring rocker for the younger ones.
Here you can see a photograph showing two different tourist information boards, one showing that dog walking in this area is prohibited and the other, which when translated into English reads:
This playground is free for children
Minimum age of 2 years to a maximum age of 10 years
At each game is the age
Children are placed under the responsibility of their parents or custodians.
In freezing weather the use of the playing area is strictly prohibited.
Here is another information board produced by the Mayor of Paris, and when translated into English this reads:
It is forbidden to smoke in the collective areas of games
Why?
* A public health issue: reducing tobacco consumption
* Protecting children and providing them with a quality environment
* Improving the cleanliness and living environment of all
By smoking here, you expose yourself to a fine of €38
Throwing your butt is also an offense that could cost you €68.
And at the very bottom of the tourist information board is states:
In accordance with Decree 2015 - 768 of 29th June 2015.
With a seesaw, another spring rocker and a colourfully painted small slide, spread out over the children's playground, as you saw earlier on, the apparatus within the Trocadero Gardens is designed for those aged between two and ten, within a safe enclosed environment.
Maintained to a high standard and with sandy ground beneath the playground equipment, you can see that the apparatus for older children is positioned to one end of the area, which makes it even safer for toddlers when it get busy.
However, the above photo shows the entrance into the children's playground with the signs attached to the fence next to the gate, and as you can tell, maintenance workers within the Jardins du Trocadero were clearing up all the rubbish and emptying the bins, that are positioned in strategic places all over the gardens.
In addition to this, located right by the children's playground, there is a fresh water point, sometimes referred to as a Wallace Fountain, for filling up bottles of water on a warm summers day, and many of these will have a small plaque positioned on it stating Eau Potable or just Potable, which means Drinkable Water.
