We took this photo looking in a north westerly direction towards a bronze statue called Chevaux et Chien, which in English translates to Horses and Dog, that is one of two animal group statues positioned within a basin on the Trocadero Fountain, also known as the Warsaw Fountain.

This particular animal sculpture was commissioned for when the Jardins du Trocadero and the fountain were redesigned for the 1937 Universal Exhibition in Paris, at the same time as the Palais de Chaillot was constructed, with a part of this building being visible behind the trees in the background.
