While we were within the Jardins du Trocadero in the 16th Arrondissement of Paris, we took this photo looking in a north westerly direction over a part of the stream, which is one of the water features contained within the grounds close to the western perimeter.

Although the Trocadero Gardens were first laid out by Jean-Charles Alphand for the 1878 World Fair in Paris, which was when the old Palais du Trocadero was constructed, they were redesigned for the 1937 Universal Exhibition by Roger-Henri expert who was assisted by Adolphe Thiers and Paul Maitre.
