HD photograph from Esplanade of the Rights of Man in Jardins du Trocadero looking south west - Page 81
We were standing by the Esplanade des Droits de l'Homme, which is a terrace in front of the Palais de Chaillot and a square in between the two wings of the building, that used to be known as the Terrasse du Trocadero, name after the Jardins du Trocadero, when we took this photo looking in a south westerly direction.

Yet it was actually when the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights back in 1948 while at a meeting within the Palais de Chaillot, that the name of the esplanade and terrace changed to commemorate this event, with the literal translation from French being the Esplanade of the Rights of Man.
