The Trocadero Gardens has numerous varieties of trees, shrubs, bushes and other plants, some of which date back to the 1800s when the garden was first laid out, and even though they were redesigned for the 1937 World Fair, many features have remained the same.

It was designed to bring social harmony to the residents of the area, whether rich or poor, who could enjoy green spaces within an urban environment, yet this has also led to a far greater bio-diversity of wildlife that can be spotted. Plus, in keeping with the ethics of the city, this is an environmentally friendly garden maintained to a very high standard by a dedicated team for anyone to enjoy at any time of day or night.
