This is a view looking in an easterly direction over a part of the Trocadero Gardens towards the western wing of the Palais de Chaillot, which is sometimes referred to as the Passy Wing, due to its location closest to the Passy Cemetery and the area that was originally a village outside of Paris before being annexed to the city.

You will find that on either side of the Palais de Chaillot the Jardins du Trocadero have been laid out as English style Gardens with meandering paths and random planting, along with ponds and streams, just like what you can see in this photograph, which makes it a pleasant walk through before visiting one of the attractions located here such as CineAqua.
